Alsof ArmA III nog niet groots genoeg was heeft Bohemia Interactive de komst bekend gemaakt van Tanoa, een nieuw gebied dat honderd vierkante kilometer aan nieuw terrein toevoegt.
De uitbreiding geeft nieuwe voertuigen, wapens, toevoegingen, gear, karakters, speelbare content en meer. Het is de eerste locatie in de South Pacific binnen de serie en werd tijdens de PC Gaming Show onthult.
