Gamecharacters komen en gaan. Maar weinig ontwikkelaars lukt het om het character uit hun game boven het gemiddelde uit te laten steken. Eens in de zoveel tijd staat er echter iemand op die de gamer aanspreekt, en niet meer loslaat. Game na game blijft hij ons boeien, en hele fanclubs worden aan hem gewijd. Iedere week zullen wij één van deze 'Gamecharacters' bespreken.
King "Bowser" Koopa
Deze week gaat het over niemand minder dan King Koopa, voor de meeste bekend als Bowser. Deze gigantische, uit de kluiten gewassen schildpad staat bekend als de aartsvijand van Super Mario. Gewapend met dodelijke vuuraanvallen, een puntig schild en zijn brute kracht probeerde hij keer op keer om prinses Peach te ontvoeren. De laatste tijd doet hij het wat rustiger aan en is hij ook regelmatig aan het sporten. Ook staat hij zijn mannetje in diverse toernooien. En hij wordt niet voor niets King Koopa genoemd. Hij is namelijk de leider van de Koopa troepen. Een zooitje ongeregeld dat hem meestal helpt in zijn plannen. Het is niet veel hulp maar iets is beter dan niets.

ik vind dit niet echt een speciaal poppetje, het is gewoon een poppejte dat je (bijna) in elke mario game vind maar het heeft nog nooit een hoofdrol gehad

Bowser is net zo groot als Luigi en Peach als je het mij vraagt Dat is ook wel te zien aan het aantal games waarin hij zit
