Met de komst van The Orange Box kregen we niet één, zelfs niet twee, ook geen drie en nee, zelfs geen kwartet aan games. Maar liefst vijf games stonden op de disc, waarvan Team Fortress 2 misschien wel de populairste was.
Valve heeft een nieuwe update gelanceerd voor de game, welke nu te downloaden is via Steam. De patch repareert enkele fouten en voegt een aantal dingen toe die de community graag wilde. Je kan toegang krijgen tot de download door Steam even opnieuw op te starten. De 'patch note' valt hieronder te lezen.

* Added OnPickUpTeam1 and OnPickUpTeam2 outputs to the item_teamflag entity
* Added intro movie .mp3 files to the sound/misc folder
